It’s actually a list of subscribers or individuals who paid for the book in advance.  Their names and addresses appear in the book upon publication.  While it helps identify where within the city of Philadelphia Daniel resided, it is interesting that both &quot;The Plan of Philadelphia&quot; and A New System of Modern Geography&quot; contain a number of maps.  A New System....had 30 maps.  Daniel must have had an interest in geography, cartography, or both.
